Grammar Translation method

 One of the first methods seen is the Grammar Translation Method, what is it about? let´s see

This method was born in the 1800s having Latin-Greek / Greek-Latin as the original languages translated. It was translated in some areas as:

                                       BIBLE/LITERATURE

In class one of the activities carried out was to write a piece of each of the above examples, then translate the same texts.

so this method focuses more on writing and reading where speaking is dismissed as part of the activities.
